ABOUT

I am a Denver native and received my education through Colorado State University.  I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Environment, a minor in Art History and a concentration in Construction Management.  As a student at CSU, I joined the Epsilon Beta Chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma.  As a Kappa, I learned the importance of philanthropy and enjoyed the benefits of sisterhood.  I held the office of  Social Chairman during my junior year and Pledge Trainer during my senior year.  I also received the Rose Magill Award for outstanding student during my senior year.  During the end of my senior year in college, I had the opportunity to study art and architecture abroad in Vienna, Austria.  I feel this experience coupled with my education has given me a rich background to draw on when creating my illustrations. In addition, I made several guest appearances on a local Colorado network afternoon television program to offer various tips and suggestions on interior design. I  also taught  courses at a local free university on color theory and elements of interior design.

In September of 2012, I have obtained a second degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, graduating Cum Laude in my class.  I am now a registered Sonographer--ultrasound, and still continue to create my portraits.

One of my most rewarding experiences has been creating portraits for the Living Legends of Aviation in tribute to pilots who have become celebrities and celebrities who have become pilots. Please visit the Celebrities page to learn more.
